Nokia 5800 Express Music - Why it is Rocking the World

Come the trend of touch screen mobile phones and Nokia almost tops the charts. With the advent of a technologically driven world, every one seeks for a mobile that gives them all the latest features combined with the goodness of stylish looks. Nokia 5800 Express Music does just that! It has become one of the most popular touch screen mobile phones in today's recent times.

Weighing 109 grams, with size 111x 51.7x 15.5 mm, the mobile boasts of a 3.2 mega pixel camera lens competent enough with any other mobile phone in the market. The most amazing feature of the mobile is that it adjusts its display light according the light available in the surroundings. Just like other phones it has the menu in a grid format making it more user-friendly but with its accelerometer the menu view can be changed with the alterations in the position you are holding the phone. The phone's display is not very quick but yes, relatively more responsive than some other sets of its genre.

The phone offers a variety of ways in which you can type messages along with MMS version 1.3 giving you a message size up to 600 Kb. 250 contacts can be saved in your sim card with the facility of saving the numbers in your phone memory with some information about the person. Like: 3 email addresses, URLs, video calling numbers, anniversaries, work details, name of the family members and a few notes too. With the standard features like clock, calendar, calculator, notepad, world clock, converter, file manager and a voice recorder it also has some exclusive features too. Stereo profile enabled Bluetooth and Wi-fi are some of them. A Nokia express music logo at the top of the display, in a single touch, opens up a small world of music launch, photo and video gallery with online sharing of these files. The mobile is Java TM MIDP 2.0 enabled and comes with a USB 2.0 High speed. Having a Symbian Operating System version 9.4, it offers games like DVD: Ulead VTB, 3D Bounce and Global Race.

Although it offers few flaws but they are worth noticing before you buy the handset. The first one being that it is a touch screen mobile, which means you don't have a keypad driven messaging facility, dialling a number is cumbersome and a lot of care has to be taken while handling the mobile. Here the QWERTY keypad mobile phones score over Nokia 5800. However, there is a handwriting recognition facility available in the handset. Also some of the buttons require double touch whereas some require only a single touch which can be confusing at times. The optimizing of the user interface is not very good with the scrolling not silken smooth.
